Young Sherlock Holmes Redux On The Way

The Lion King 1½ and Wanted 2 writer Evan Spiliotopoulos is in talks to pen the script for a remake of "Young Sherlock Holmes" says The Wrap

The story follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson when they meet at a British boarding school as teenagers and stumble upon a series of murders.

Chris Columbus wrote the original 1985 film, which was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall, and directed by Barry Levinson. Columbus will produce the update.
