Carnahan Takes Over Undying Love Film

Joe Carnahan ("The Grey," "The A-Team") is closing a deal to pen the script and direct film adaptation of the comic book adaptation "Undying Love" says Deadline.

The story revolves around an ex-soldier who falls for a vampire, though in order to be with her, he must take on her creator. That creator is protected by an army of mobsters in the Hong Kong underworld.

Comic creators Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman wrote the adapted script.

Michael De Luca, Stephen L'Heureux and Benderspink's Chris Bender, Jc Spink will produce the pic.

Carnahan replaces the previously attached Alexandre Aja.
