TMNT Reboot: No Sexy Car Or Motorbike Shots For Fox

If you are expecting actress Megan Fox to strike any sexy poses as Journalist April O'Neil in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot--ala the way she did in both Transformers  and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen--think again kids.

In fact Fox tells EW that director Jonathan Liebesman actually insisted that they tone down Fox's sex appeal for the movie:

"I'm completely clothed for the entire movie. There's no gratuitous skin or sexual anything. Jonathan was really insistent on not wanting her to be sexualized or to take that sort of typical role we've seen women take in movies thus far, and that I've taken in particular."

Fox has no problem at at all taking some stuff off and exploiting her sex appeal in the future:

"I don't really mind. It's actually a large part of my personality. I think you can be that and you can also be intelligent and strong. I don't think they're in opposition to one another - at least in my life."

Asked about her incarnation of April in the film, she says she's more of a leader:

"She's more of a leader when she explores her relationship with the turtles instead of just the human companion that gets dragged along on the adventure. It's more representative of a modern woman."

Jeremy Howard will play Donatello Noel Fisher will play Michelangelo and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Alan Ritchson plays Raphael Johnny Knoxville will voice the role of Leonardo, with Tony Shalhoub voicing the role of wise rat Master Splinter--the father figure to the shelled heroes.

During production, Pete Ploszek played Leonardo and Danny Woodburn played Splinter in mo-cap suits--the studio was always open to changing the voice component of the film so that is what happened with 2 characters.

Will Arnett is tapped to play Casey Jones opposite fellow live action actor William Fichtner (The Dark Knight, Drive Angry) plays TMNT nemesis Shredder

The film was set to be live-action but then it was decided that the turtles would be brought to life using motion capture/CGI like 2011's "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes".

Liebesman directed from a script by Kevin Eastman, Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.

Brad Fuller Andrew Form, Galen Walker and Scott Mednick would co-produce with Michael Bay.

Originally due for release on June 6th 2014, the movie is now slated to arrive in theaters on August 8th.

Bay has denied rumors that the reshoots on the film are extensive.--meaning a potential 2nd delay.
