The Great Experiment Continues...

Steven Soderbergh is set to direct "Girlfriend Experience" reports Variety.

The story centers in on the world of prostitution through the eyes of a $10,000-a-night call girl. The flick reunites Soderbergh with Brian Koppelman & David Levien (Ocean's Thirteen) who are writing the script

Soderbergh may cast an adult film actress to play the lead role.

After Soderbergh finishes up "The Informant" with Matt Damon, he'll turn to "The Girlfriend Experience," which will be shot over two weeks in the fall.

The project marks the second film of a six-picture pact Soderbergh made to direct low-budget films that get distributed simultaneously in theatrical, on cable TV and on DVD--"Bubble" being the first.

I respect Soderbergh and his skills and the premise of "Girlfriend" sounds provocative enough--Let's face it though--The results of the three way release of Bubble proved to be very difficult to call a success.
