SAG to begin talks with majors
Negotiations will start April 15
"We look forward to productive negotiations," Screen Actors Guild Executive Director Doug Allen said in a statement late Tuesday.
This move is no surprise given recent events...Then again-talks were set to start sometime this month anyway...If SAG hadn't dragged its heels for so long-The union would have been in better shape to deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and would have had the backing of its sister org .AFTRA as well.
