Jumper co-star Max Thieriot (pictured) will be stepping into replace Henry Lee Hopper as the lead in Wes Craven's horror thriller "25/8". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hopper, who was to make his screen debut on the film--had to step out after contracting Mononucleosis
Craven couldn't delay the project because of the possible actors strike.
The story focuses on seven teens haunted by a killer who supposedly died when they were born.
John Magaro is set to play Thierot's comic sidekick beating out popular teen star Jesse McCartney for his role. Raúl Esparza is in talks to play the film's serial killer.
Tough break for Hopper...But Thierot makes a fine replacement.
Shooting begins this month in Connecticut.
