A former "Prison Break" co star proves he is ready to sit in the Big Chair...
Rockmond Dunbar will produce and direct the indie drama "Pastor Brown" according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows a wayward pastor's daughter, Jesse Brown (Salli Richardson-Whitfield), when she leaves her life as an exotic dancer to make amends with her family and the congregation, turning into Pastor Brown.
Dunbar will also act in the film as Amir, a Muslim man who falls in love with Jesse.
Former NBA players Shaun Livingston and Charles Oakley found a new line of work executive producers on the film.
Dunbar was quite compelling playing Benjamin Miles 'C-Note' Franklin during his run on the TV series Prison Break. I'm thrilled for him and the opportunity this affords him...Yay!
Filming is already underway in Atlanta.
