Rachel Weisz will star in the independent political drama "The Whistleblower" reports Variety.The film chronicles the trials of Kathryn Bolkovac--a female cop from Nebraska who serves as a peacekeeper after the Bosnian War and exposes a United Nations cover-up of a sex trafficking scandal.
Larysa Kondracki, makes her feature film directorial debut and co-wrote the script with Eilis Kirwan
Weisz is very busy--having completed iThe Brothers Bloom due this summer and The Lovely Bones in December.
Filming on the true tale that will have its star back in The Constant Gardener mode will take place in Budapest.
