Worthwhile

Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth will play Miley Cyrus' love interest in "The Last Song" according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Celebrated author Nicholas Sparks wrote the book and script adaptation with Cyrus in mind for the female lead.

The story centers on a rebellious teenager (Cyrus) who is forced to spend the summer with the father who left her years earlier.

Hemsworth is playing a member of the local cool crowd, an awesome beach volleyball player with Ivy League dreams.

Julie Anne Robinson is directing when the cameras roll on June 15th in Georgia.

Knowing was Liam's last pic But I bet he gets more attention acting with Cyrus than he got in the Nicolas Cage movie--Hemsworth is one of a trio of acting brothers who're all famous for their work on Aussie soaps.

He and brother Luke starred on "Neighbours" and both have played roles in the Melbourne brothel-set cabler "Satisfaction".

His other brother Chris starred on a rival Aussie sudser "Home and Away" and also has a key role in Joss Whedon's upcoming thriller "The Cabin in the Woods" as well as playing Captain Kirk(Chris Pine) dad in the latest Star Trek flick
