Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth will play Miley Cyrus' love interest in "The Last Song" according to The Hollywood Reporter.Celebrated author Nicholas Sparks wrote the book and script adaptation with Cyrus in mind for the female lead.
The story centers on a rebellious teenager (Cyrus) who is forced to spend the summer with the father who left her years earlier.
Hemsworth is playing a member of the local cool crowd, an awesome beach volleyball player with Ivy League dreams.
