Roarke's Road

Mickey Rourke 's "comeback" continues...He is set to star in a remake of the 1986 British gangster film "Mona Lisa " reports Variety.



Rourke will play an ex-con who takes a job as a chauffeur for a high-class escort.

Eva Green (Casino Royale) is in advanced negotiations to star opposite him.

Bob Hoskins and Cathy Tyson starred in the original pic directed by Neil Jordan (The Crying Game), for which Hoskins was nominated for an Oscar.

Controversial director Larry Clark (Kids, Wassup Rockers) is writing and directing the remake.

Filming kicks off this July in New York

Meantime as he awaits to begin "Lisa" ContactMusic says he is currently undergoing a slimming program to lose his "The Wrestler weight so that he can play the Crimson Dynamo in "Iron Man 2"...
