The Chosen Among Choices

Tom Cruise has added yet another pic to his already crowded roster of potential projects-among them--Len Wiseman’s Motorcade, and The Tourist, which would have been opposite Charlize Theron. Right now, though the action/comedy Wichita, helmed by James Mangold seems to lead the pack reports Variety.



Cruise would play a secret agent who pops in and out of the life of a single woman (Cameron Diaz).

Cruise and Diaz, who previously were seen together in "Vanilla Sky" (and there was her Minority Report cameo) in 2001, are in advanced negotiations and have approved the script.

The script has been in the hands of many writers, most recent drafts were done by Scott Frank, before it was tweaked by Mangold and Laeta Kalogridis.

This story first popped back in late March of this year--But now seems more likely--having its script issues resolved...And a title

The film should be out by next Summer
