Universal Pictures will adapt Mike Richardson's graphic novel The Secret for the big screen reports Variety.The story revolves around a group of high school students who pull a prank that goes horribly wrong, but puts a spin on the teen horror thriller.

I have not read the book--but now I can't help being a bit intrigued by what the spin on the genre could be...
