Moviehole says Will Ferrell could be heard on Australian radio saying that everyone “is meeting next week” to discuss a sequel for Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy .

Co-stars Paul Rudd and Steve Carell are said to be attending that meeting....



Director Adam McKay and Ferrell have been hinting at a sequel as far back as last summer telling EW that they were already developing a script that would put Ron Burgundy in the 80's...

I know I'm probably in the minority here but I think Anchorman is funnier as a premise than it is as a film. The idea of a sequel is meh...
