Dae-Writer

Walter F. Parkes and David Digilio (creator of the short-lived TV series "Traveler") are set to adapt the Daniel Suarez upcoming techno thriller novel "Daemon" into a film says Variety.

The story centers on an iconic game designer who, before he died, set up a program to fight mankind.

This marks producer Parkes third screenplay, his first two being 1983's "WarGames" and 1992's "Sneakers" which both had great scripts.

Has a film franchise been born...?

The book hits book stores in January, and is already expected to spawn a sequel .
