Less Than Perfect

Andrew Douglas is set to direct the $14.6 million thriller "The Perfect Assassin" says Variety.

Set in the final months of Spain's 1936-39 civil war, the English-language film centers on two hit squads out to kill a politician.

Paul Webb will adapt the script from Tariq Goddard's novel "Homage to a Firing Squad".

Casting will take place in the UK and Spain shortly hoping for a shoot next Spring and Summer in Spain.



Considering that the biggest film on Douglas' resume was the really awful remake of The Amityville Horror with Ryan Reynolds he's got something to prove as far as I'm concerned...
