A remake of the Sophie Marceau-starring French film, "Anthony Zimmer" from 2005. The thriller centers on an American tourist who, on behalf of Interpol, goes undercover to entrap a former lover who's a suspected global criminal.
Theron is the second star to bail on the pic...Tom Cruise pulled out of the film to star in Wichita with Cameron Diaz, was replaced by Sam Worthington earlier this year who remains attached to play the lead male role.
Making matters worse Director director Bharat Nalluri ("Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day") is no longer attached-- off the project as of last week.
Jolie just finished filming the spy-action flick “Salt” where she ironically enough replaced Cruise.
