Lionel Wigram, producer of the recent Guy Ritchie directed reinvention of Sherlock Holmes has set up a similar take on Alexandre Dumas' classic tale of The Three Musketeers says Variety. Peter Straughan will write an adaptation said to play up the action, humor and 'sexier' elements of the story.
Sounds also a bit like the 1993 filmversion of the story
No director or cast has yet been announced.
Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson is working on a separate Three-D version of the story
