Some Movie Morsels For Humpday

-The remake of Pascal Laugier’s violent French horror film Martyrs is moving forward with Daniel Stamm (The Last Exorcism) calling the shots reports 24 Frames. The film tells the story of Lucie and Anna, two orphans who develop a strong bond with each other, until one of them seeks revenge on a family who may or may not have abused her as a child.

-Pals Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are set to re-write the comedy "Neighborhood Watch" says Heat Vision.The story follows several suburban dads who join a neighborhood watch program. In their somewhat over enthusiastic approach, they stumble upon supernatural evil afoot on their block .Peter Segal ("Get Smart") directs the pic. Shawn Levy will produce. Will Ferrell was originally due to star, but no one is currently attached to this flick.

Miller

 -Chan-wook Park (Oldboy) is in talks to direct the English-language drama Stoker reports The Los Angeles Times.The story follows a young woman  (Carey Mulligan) whose eccentric uncle comes back into her life after the death of her father. The uncle role has yet to be cast. Former "Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller wrote the script Jodie Foster also stars

-Steven Soderbergh is the latest director said to be negotiating the rights for a film version of the 60's TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. says Heat Vision. Scott Z. Burns is wanted to write the script. Max Borenstein wrote the a previous draft of the script with David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) directing
