No Super Suit Requited? |
Matthew Goode, who played Ozymandias/Adrian Veidt in Zack Snyder’s impressive Watchmen adaptation is being talked up by “sources” as a front-runner for Superman: Man of Steel says Movienewz
The latest from the Mill is that Snyder wants the 6'2, 32-year-old Goode to play Clark Kent in the film.
Goode would fit into the Kent role quite well
Goode as Superman on the other hand--if Goode were selected he'd have to spend serious time in the gym right?
Movienewz also reports that Snyder isn't concerned about body type as he plans to render Superman's muscular body with CG animation, much like Ryan Reynolds, outfit is rendered in next year's Green Lantern
Not sure how I feel about a CG Supes though GL looks better than I thought he would...
Actors Joe Manganiello Jon Hamm, Armie Hammer and Ian Somerhalder have all been bandied around thebWeb for rhe role recently...
Meantime What's Playing says according to casting breakdowns - "When he is compelled to use his secret powers to intervene in a crisis in West Africa, Clark returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and the hero he was born to be”.
