Pettyfer Junction

Alex Pettyfer and Matt Bomer have joined Andrew Niccol's sci-fi pic Now says Deadline

Previously titled "I'm.mortal", the story is set in a society where people engineered to stop ageing at 25-years-old and time has become the currency of the realm. The wealthy are practically immortal while the majority of the populous struggles to bank what extra time they can.

The pic follows a ghetto rebel (Justin Timberlake) wrongly accused of murder who is forced to go into hiding with a beautiful and rich hostage (Amanda Seyfried). They soon begin a steamy romance.

Cillian Murphy Olivia Wilde, Collins Pennie Johnny Galecki Vincent Kartheiser also star.

Niccol ("Gattaca," "S1m0ne") is currently calling action from a script he wrote

Eric Newman and Marc Abraham will produce the Logan's Run-like film


Meantime--Director Bryan Singer puts Pettyfer on his list--joining  Aaron Johnson and Max Irons, to possibly play the lead in his upcomming Jack the Giant Killer which starts production in the Spring.

And if that were not enough  The New York Times reports that Pettyfer will star in and produce a biopic about Formula 1 driver James Hunt
