Eli Helps A Clown Then Feels An Aftershock

Filmmaker Eli Roth will produce. 2 new horror pics says Deadline.

The first is Clown, which commercial and music video maker Jon Watts will helm from a screenplay he co-wrote with Christopher D. Ford.

The story follows a loving dad who dons an old clown suit for his son's birthday. When the party is over, he finds the outfit and make-up won't come off no matter what he tries, and he himself is changing both psychologically and physically due to it.

The film is a feature length version of a faux trailer the pair put together that went viral in October.

Like the fact that Roth helping another filmmaker get on his feet...

The other pic called "Aftershock" is described as a "high-octane horror-thriller"

Set during the aftermath of the Chilean earthquake back in February, The English-language film uses the backdrop to create an intensity ala [Rec].
