Out on the stump promoting December 17th's The Fighter star Mark Wahlberg tells Cinematical that he is not starring in the reboot of The Crow.
"We never committed to making the movie. They talked to me about it, and there was a director [Stephen Norrington] attached who I was a fan of, and he's no longer doing it. We just thought about it - 'is there something cool to be done there?' But we're not committed to making the movie"
Wahlberg then told MTV that he will reunite with Fighter helmer David O. Russell for "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" the film adaptation of the video game He also suggested that Russell is courting Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci to play Drake’s father and uncle respectively.
He also confirmed that the remake of 1980's Contraband and the
Seth MacFarlane comedy Teddy Bear are on his plate as well.
