The Red Skull was once a weapon developer named Johann Schmidt who undergoes an experiment much like Steve Rogers which leaves him hideously disfigured. But that doesn’t stop him and he goes on to create the ultimate weapon, the Cosmic Cube. This glowing cube turns the users dreams or whims into reality.
