Jim Jarmusch, perhaps most famous for his 2005 feature Broken Flowers, has had a “crypto-vampire love story”, as he likes to call it, on his mind for quite some time. Now with the vampire craze in full swing thanks to the popularity of The Twilight Saga, he now aims to shoot this film.
Screen Daily relays that the film will star Michael Fassbender, Tilda Swinton, and Mia Wasikowska; Fassbender and Wasikowska acted alongside each other in Cary Fukunaga’s take on Jane Eyre.
Jarmusch states that he’s “been imagining this film for years [and] can’t wait to now realise it with these remarkable collaborators.”
