Aaron Paul Gets In Between "Fathers And Daughters"

Former “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul has joined the drama "Fathers And Daughters" says Variety.

The film tracks two different time periods in the lives of a father and daughter who live in Manhattan. The first period is in the 1980s in which a famous novelist and widower (Russell Crowe) struggles with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year old daughter. The second follows that now 30-year old daughter (Amanda Seyfried) who battles her own turbulent childhood demons in contemporary New York.

There is nothing known about Paul’s role. He and Seyfried acted together previously on the cable series  Big Love.

Brad Desch ("Shotgun Lovesongs") wrote the script from which  Gabriele Muccino's calling the shots.

Craig J. Flores, Nicolas Chartier, and Sherryl Clark will produce.

Pre-production aims to begin in December.
