Oscar-winner Dustin Hoffman and Boardwalk Empire's Steve Buscemi are set to join writer/director Thomas McCarthy's indie drama "The Cobbler" says The Wrap.
The story sees a shoe repair shop owner (Adam Sandler) who has the ability to metaphysically step into the lives of the people whose shoes he repairs.
Hoffman’s role is being kept under wraps for now, but Buscemi will reportedly play a character by the name of Manny.
Former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens also stars in the movie.
Mary Jane Skalski, who produced McCarthy's The Station Agent, The Visitor, and Win Win, does so again here.
The Cobbler will shoot before McCarthy's Spotlight which chronicles the Catholic church sex abuse scandal.
