Set years after a zombie plague has wiped out most of Earth’s population, a group of scientists and survivors attempt to find a cure - instead unleashing something worse.
The property was remade once before in 2008 with and starred Ving Rhames, Mena Suvari and Nick Cannon.
Tonderai wrote the updated script with Lars Jacobson.
Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman will produce the film
Casting begins soon. Production hopes to take place next Summer.
