Fogler And Steve-O "Barely" Find Work

Dan Fogler and Steve-O have joined the cast of the action comedy thriller "Barely Lethal" says Deadline.



The story centers on a girl named Megan (Hailee Steinfeld), who is raised at a boarding school that trains young assassins. When she relocates to another town and attends a regular high school, she realizes that the pressures of everyday teenage life is just as hard to deal with.

Sophie Turner will play an undercover agent who also enrolls to help capture the teen. Jessica Alba will play Victoria Knox, a villain who pursues Megan. Singer/actor Toby Sebastian will play Cash Fenton, the lead singer in a local band who becomes a love interest for Steinfeld's character. Dove Cameron Rob Huebel, Finesse Mitchell Rachael Harris and Hunger Games: Catching Fire actor Bruno Gunn also star.

Fogler plays Mr. Drumm, a popular high school teacher who takes a special interest in his students’ lives. Steve-O plays Pedro, a trusty associate of Hardman (Samuel L. Jackson) who’s an interrogator/torturer with an unexpected soft side.

Kyle Newman (Fanboys) is directing from a screenplay by John D'Arco.

Brett Ratner, John Cheng and Sukee Chew will produce the pic.

Production is currently underway in Atlanta
