The Abominable Snowman Will Be Back!

Screen reports that Hammer Films will develop a remake of their own 1957 Yeti-monster film The Abominable Snowman".

The new version of the monster movie is being developed in association with Ben Holden who produced 2012's "The Woman in Black" for Hammer.

Matthew Read and Jon Croker are will write the script for the new version which a scientific expedition’s illegal ascent up a peak of one of the World’s most formidable mountains. They accidentally awaken an ancient creature that could spell certain death for them all.
