There were various incarnations of the Sinister Six in the comics. The original line-up featured Doctor Octopus Electro, Sandman, Mysterio ,Vulture and Kraven the Hunter.
Which bad guys will appear in this pic is unknown at this point--Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. villains Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) are a safe bet.
Goddard was hired last December to write the film as part of the studio's plan to expand webhead's mini movie-verse
Sony is also continuing development of its proposed "Venom" spin-off film which Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Ed Solomon are writing and Kurtzman is tagged to direct. Goddard previously worked with Orci and Kurtzman on TV's "Alias".
