Sony Pays Up For "Flash Boys"

Sony and producer Scott Rudin are close to inking a deal to acquire the film rights for author Michael Lewis' new book titled "Flash Boys" says Deadline

Described as an anti-"The Wolf of Wall Street"--the tome follows a group of Wall Street investors who are frustrated by a loophole that gives traders the opportunity to game the stock market. They come  together to reform the financial markets by creating an exchange which ultimately invalidated high-frequency trading, a growing form of trading that gave insiders an advantage. The group walked away from huge money jobs to investigate big banks, stock exchanges and high frequency trading firms to expose the secrets.
