Chomping At The Bit For More

Dimension Films is already planning for a sequel to Piranha 3D" reports Variety.

Costing just $24 million to make, the film may have opened in a disappointing sixth place but still made a decent $10 million for its opening weekend and has opened well in a few select international territories.

More surprising though were the critical reviews which were quite good, the film managing a surprisingly strong 82% positive reaction on Rotten Tomatoes.

At that production price--why not go for another one?

Alexandre Aja directed the film but there's no word if he will return for round 2, Mark Canton will be on hand to produce again
