Isaiah Mustafa,, better known as the pitchman for Old Spice, has swapped one Tyler Perry movie for another says The Hollywood Reporter.
Mustafa was scheduled to play a small role in"For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf " currently scheduled to open early next year.
Perry has given him the lead role in his next project "Madea's Big Happy Family" instead.
Mustafa plays a man struggling with his marriage and family relationships.
Loretta Devine and Bow Wow also star.
"I got a call from my manager a week and a half ago who told me that I would be in 'Madea's Big Happy Family'. It was confirmed last Monday, and I left on Friday to begin filming" says Mustafa who claims to not know why Perry decided to switch his role.
Clearly Perry wanted to give Mustafa a bigger and better role in Family--Given his higher profile.
Shooting on the latest 'Madea' pic began this week in Atlanta and will continue through into next month.
