James Wan, director of the original Saw, will helm an upcoming adaptation of the graphic novel vampire tale, Nightfall says Deadline.
Scott O Brown's comic follows a man sentenced to a prison run by vampires. Wan will also oversee the script's development.
Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and William Stuart will produce.
"The minute I heard the concept, I was in," Wan said. "Reading the graphic novel cemented that. Like Saw, it's a simple concept that, if executed properly, will be so cool..."
