Nicholas Hoult has landed the lead in the film adaptation of Issac Marion's forthcoming novel Warm Bodies says THR
Described as Twilight meets Shaun of the Dead the zombie apcocalypse love story follows “an existentially-tormented zombie named R (Hoult) that begins an unlikely friendship with the human girlfriend of one of his victims. The blossoming relationship starts a chain reaction that will transform him, his fellow zombies and maybe the whole lifeless world.”
The film will be directed by Jonathan Levine, who also penned the adapted script
Shooting starts late summer, after Hoult completes Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Killer.
In the story she will play Isabella, a princess who runs away from home and is kidnapped by a group of giants. A posse, led by Jack (Hoult), is then led into the giant's land in order to get her back
Ewan McGregor joined the cast last week, while Stanley Tucci is signed to star as the villain and Bill Nighy and John Kassir take on the role of the two-headed leader of the giants.
Singer took his time in casting the lead roles in this film, testing a number of actors and actresses for the parts. Filming is set to begin on Jack this month in London
