Trek 2: Scoring "Into Darkness"

Composer Michael Giacchino took to Twitter to release 4 clips from the scoring session for  J.J. Abrams’ sequel "Star Trek Into Darkness"

The music heard is part of the End Credits for the film. You will note that Giacchino uses the familiar theme from "Star Trek" '09 with some key variations in tempo I got giddy when I heard notes of the famous theme from The Original Series by the late great Alexander Courage especially when the choir comes in--What a great nod to what's come before.



The film soundtrack is due to be released on May 14th just three days before the film hits theaters
