Kwanten Leads "Northmen: A Viking Saga"

Ryan Kwanten ("True Blood"), Tom Hopper, Charlie Murphy and Ed Skrein have joined the cast of epic adventure "Northmen: A Viking Saga" according to Screen Daily.

 The story centers on Viking marauders trapped in enemy territory in Scotland.

Ken Duken, Anatole Taubman and James Norton also star

Matthias Bauer and Bastian Zach wrote the script from which Claudio Faeh ("Sniper: Reloaded") is calling action.

Karin G. Dietrich, Ralph S. Dietrich and Daniel Hoeltschi , Marco Del Bianco, Frank Kaminski, Ulrich Stiehm and Rolf Wappenschmitt will produce the film.

 Production begins next week in South Africa and Germany.
