Bond 24: A Trio Of Beauties Go To 007?

After being rumored for the female lead role by The Daily Mail months ago...It seems as though Penelope Cruz may have won that part in Bond 24 says The Playlist

France's Premiere magazine noticed her name in a recent release schedule update from the studio.

Meantime, Aftonbladet (via Bleeding Cool) adds that Swedish actresses Ida Engvoll and Disa Ă–strand have been screen tested for the movie.

Twelve Years A Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor is reportedly in the front of the line to play the villain in the film.

There's two other key roles to be cast - the main Bond girl, and a Scandinavian woman with a troubled past who has a casual fling with Bond.

Sam Mendes is directing the film using John Logan's script.

Daniel Craig is back as Bond--we will also see the return of Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris reprising their roles from "Skyfall" as M, Q, and Moneypenny.

Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson will produce the new film
