Stellan Skarsgard Will Travel Via "The Long Ships"

Stellan Skarsgard is set to star in the big-budget Viking movie adapting author Frans G. Bengtsson's epic two-volume novel "The Long Ships" says THR.

 The project is described as the most ambitious Scandinavian viking film to-date.
 
Hans Petter Moland will direct using an adapted script by Tobias Lindholm.

 Peter Aalbaek Jensen will produce.

Production will take place largely in the South-West of Sweden in 2015.
