David Guggenheim wrote the initial script, that Simon Kinberg and Anthony Peckham have since revised.

Tony Scott was previously attached to helm the film before his death in 2012. Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity," "Jumper") was in talks to take over last year but things stalled
