Spider-Man Films: RUMOR-Garfield Tipped To Do 4 More?

Both star Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb have said publicly that they are leaving the film series after "The Amazing Spider-Man 3"...

With That....

A new report in The Daily Star suggests that Garfield may be sticking around for a while as  Spider-Man. .

The British tabloid's "senior source at Columbia Pictures" claims 30-year-old Garfield is currently contracted to make two more films for release in 2015 and 2016 (what that 2015 film is it doesn't specify).

However, they add that: "we are looking to tie him to the role for as many as a further four pictures given the huge success the franchise is enjoying. The part is pretty much his for as long as he chooses."

Andrew could show up in  the "Venom" and "The Sinister Six" film spin-offs that are in development at the studio.

To help sweeten the deal, it is stated that Garfield's been offered a piece of the film's box-office returns in order to keep him in Spidey suit.

Garfield has suggested replacing Peter Parker with the 13-year-old, half black, half Hispanic Miles Morales who became Spider-Man in the "Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man" storyline. If not Morales  how about Miguel O'Hara from Spider-Man 2099?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 producers  Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach both nixed the notion of anyone else but Peter wearing the Spidey threads.
