Rodrigo Santoro Serves Drinks In "Dominion"

Rodrigo Santoro  has joined the cast of the indie biopic drama "Dominion" says Deadline.

The film is based on Welsh poet Dylan Thomas (played by Rhys Ifans) and the last day of his short life spent at the famous White Horse Tavern in New York. Thomas died a few weeks into a US tour of poetry readings. Records suggest that Thomas was not well during the tour, but continued to consume large amounts of alcohol.

Santoro will play the bartender at the White Horse, a pivotal role as a character who continues to communicate with Thomas throughout the film.

John Malkovich Zosia Mamet, Tony Hale and Diego Luna also star in the movie.

Steven Bernstein wrote the script from which he will also direct.

Nolan Mcdonald Richard N. Gladstein and Brigitte Huff will produce the film.

Production is due to begin as this item posts.
