Variety says that Oprah.Winfrey wants to develop the Chris Rock staring film Will You Be My Black Friend?:Based on Devin Friedman's article for GQ from '08, the story chronicles what happens when a white, married journalist living in Manhattan comes to the realization one night at a cocktail party that his entire social circle is made up of Caucasians.
With help of the Internet, this "white guy" sets out on a s journey to make "black friends," only to discover that regardless of race, the older you get, the harder it is to make friends.
