Evans will play a gigolo who becomes involved with an older woman, all while going through a traumatic relationship with his agency. Stone plays the older lady.
"It's about a male prostitute in London who loses the older woman who's been taking care of him, and the call-out agency he's worked for is tired of his behavior and don't want to send him out anymore, You think they have legitimately fallen in love, by his behavior and her behavior,” Stone said “until the call-out service starts sending him out again while he's with her. He starts trying to break her down. And it's incredible what they do together: a very, very fascinating journey."
Production will take place in the UK and Italy...
A new spin on John Schlesinger's Midnight Cowboy or American Gigolo eh?
Stone became a star off her turns in Basic Instinct and Sliver using sex...What's interesting here is Evans--Who hasn't really had a meaty dramatic role like this....If done right this could be good as long as it's not played over the top.
