The story follows a 61-year-old dying man who plans to end his life on his own terms. That quest takes a detour when the man ends up on the lam with an eccentric 22-year-old woman (Tatiana Maslany).
Jessie Gabe ("Being Erica") penned the script
Mark Montefiore is producing the pic.
Production is due to begin in Canada in July on location between Winnipeg and Victoria.
Priestley has helmed episodes of various TV shows as well as a 1999 theatrical documentary called Barenaked in America about the band the Barenaked Ladies
