John Turturro wrote, will direct and stars in the film in which he and Allen play cash-strapped best friends who decide to go into the gigolo business together - Allen pimping out Turturro's character. They subsequently attract the suspicion of the Hasidic Jewish community in which they live.
Sharon Stone also stars as Allen's dermatologist who hires Turturro to sleep with her, Vergara is tipped to play another wealthy client who's bored with her marriage and wants a threesome with Turturro and Stone.
Jeffrey Kusama-Hinte will produce the pic
Production kicks off in New York next month.
Fading will mark the first film in over a decade that Allen has acted in which he hasn't directed himself.
