The first teaser trailer for Shane Black's "Iron Man 3" will drop on the Internet at 12:01 a.m. US-EST on Tuesday October 23rd according to E! Online.
The debut will mark the first launch of the marketing for the film, aside from the Comic-Con 2012 panel and presentatation footage back in July. It will also hint at what Marvel has in store for fanboys jn regards to its much-talked about Phase Two plans.
The story is based on the popular six-issue mini series "Extremis" by Warren Ellis--The plot involves the spread of a virus through nanobots. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will battle Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce's characters
Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle,Jon Favreau Rebecca Hall James Badge Dale Ashley Hamilton William Sadler also star.
Though he injured an ankle on set a while ago, RDJ. is back at work and the May 3rd 2013 release date remains unchanged.

The actual revenue or number of copies sold figures haven't been released, it's been confirmed that Joss Whedon's superhero team-up blockbuster took in more than 34 times the total of the No. 2 film on the chart. The DTV animated movie "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1--which is very good by the way-- About 72% of all "The Avengers" disc sales were on Blu-ray - a record high for a new theatrical release that has both DVD & Blu-ray formats available equally . 23% of total "The Avengers" sales were for the Four-Disc Combo 3D/Blu-ray pack
