Paramount Rides The "Vessel"

Paramount has acquired the rights and are planning a feature film remake of Clark Baker's sci-fi/horror short film "Vessel" reports Variety.

Here's the short:



Baker funded the short using Kickstarter armed with a script by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer ("Hidden").

 It follows a group of airplane passengers who encounter an otherwordly force shortly after takeoff and are thrown into the fight for their lives.

Stephen Susco ("The Grudge") will write and produce the feature length version which Baker will direct.
