As everyone knows Jennifer Lawrence is reprising her role as the blue shapeshifting Mystique in Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past"...Guess what fellow fanboys? She will be naked more often this time out...!!
Chatting with Sci-Fi Now,, the actress says that thanks to her pride for her mutant abilities in the first film, she'll forgo clothing more often in the upcoming sequel:
"I'm naked, but when I do get to wear clothes, I love the 1970s outfits. Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we’re still using the same paint. But she’s different in this film to. She was struggling – like a lot of normal humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first movie, but this time she is Mutant and proud."
The costume is a little different this time out as well. In the last pic the actress was mostly nude and covered in make-up now she reportedly wears an easier to slip in and out of body suit.
The character's blue color is also a slightly darker shade, closer to Rebecca Romijn’s version in the original films, due to the sequel being set ten years after the first film.
The latest sequel is based on a -2 issue story arc in the 'X-Men' comics published in 1981. Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes) is on board to pen the screenplay which will include New Mutants. Magneto and his relationship with Charles X. Xavier will be front and center as well.
