The story from Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark follows a teenage protagonist, Any other specific details are under wraps. Dean Israelite is attached to make his feature film directorial debut on the picture.
Michael Bay Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are set to produce the film.
The studios and the scribes previously made the similarly shot $13 million thriller "Almanac" which is slated for release on February 28, 2014.
This film is expected to have a slightly higher budget than "Almanac" but will use the same "innovative handheld camera" technique
